O/D off light flashing

My o/d off lite has been flashing for a few days now.
If I take it out of o/d it will still flash.
Had a new MLPS installed with the new jasper tranny a few months ago.
It seems to shift fine and the o/d bottom works, It just does not stay on when it is out of O/D, Just flashes all the time.
Any ideas?

The flashing means it's throwing a code; have it read, and see what it is.

Not all scanners can read tranny codes, you may have to go to a dealer.

I'd start with whoever sold you the transmission.

mines been doing that for a couple years now, doesn't flash all the time mostly does it in hot weather. but other than the tranny shifted hard sometimes drivability is the same.

This is how you destroy transmissions. Get the code read. The code is probably for the fluid being too hot, but you never know.
