deeper trans pan

Well after the holidays, I was going to change my trans filter. I was wondering if I should get a deeper trans pan? If so where at?

I was also looking for the ford filters and cant find any on autozone or advance auto's website. I was told that since I have a shudder on my TC a new filter could help this.

I can probably get you one of those, you need the matching filter too. I sell cast aluminum deep pans as well. It just depends on what you want.

You wont find a Ford filter at Autozone .. you will find a Duralast filter, that doesnt quite fit when you try to put it in your car .. garbage.

I may check out one of the local pick and pulls and get a pan. But dirty... how much you sell your filters for?

Many salvage yards won't sell the pan separate from the rest of the tranny. But if it's a yard where you go in and take your own stuff off yourself then they might.

If they give you any trouble just tell them you found it on the ground (smear some dirt of it for effect ) I rarely have to deal with that at u pull its though.
