Question Somebody running a 4r70w on a carb engine ???

hi folks

is actually somebody here who has a 4r70w behind a carburated motor??

and how is it coming around???

there is 2 ways that you can do it.

1: put 4R70W parts into a 4R70 trans with a manual valve body

2: get a electronic programmer to control the electronics in the 4R70W transmission

option 1 is the cheaper way of doing it. I had a friends dad put the trans together for me but you will need a upgraded valve body to run the newer gear set. also note this was put into a 90 grand marq so it did have fuel injection but the only electronics to the trans where for PARK switch and the Rev. lights, so should still work in a carb engine.

Drive train Mods:
full PI swap (03 grand marquis engine), 2000 Mustang GT 4R70W, C & L intake elbow, 73mm TB, 73mm MAF housing, CAI, flowmaster exhaust, 3.73 w/ trac lock and upgraded clutches, BOC tune.
Interior Mods:
SC seats

2008 Mazdaspeed 3
Drive train Mods:
Mazdaspeed cold air intake, TWM short throw shifter, motor mounts, and muffler delete
