Shift cable need adjusting?

Thought it was my ignition switch until I slammed it into park. Turn the key and it wont start until I do that. Sure dont want to have that problem when I put the new tranny in.

More likely MLPS needs adjusting or bad MLPS.

I agree more then likely the mlps is bad or needs adjusting.
