Lost trans dipstick, will 96-98 mustang 4r70w work?

Hi, during the rebuild of the 4R70W in my 1997 Mercury Cougar w/ 4R70W I lost the transmission dipstick.

I've called many salvage yards to no end and found one for a 96-98 mustang w/ 4R70W, here. The dipstick tube shown in the eBay auction has more bends in it, will it work on my car? Anyone know where I can find one elsewhere? I'm in a bind, you guys help will be greatly appreciated.

Craig

Edit

Can someone take a picture of a tape measure next to the dipstick, maybe the ebay seller will measure the one for the mustang.

You don't have to know everything, if you know where to find it.

I should be able to take a pic of the dipstick off my 95 Thunderbird's 4r70w tonight if you don't get any other replies. It's already off the car. I'll sell it if you want.

I found the dipstick where is shouldn't have been hidden away surprisingly, woohoo! =D Thank you for looking out for me man. If anyone gets in the same situation, the dipstick is exactly 21 inches long from the tip where it goes into the fluid to where it bottoms out on top of the dipstick tube on tranny, FYI.
