Crown Victoria Trans..police version?! :(

I recently purchased a transmission to swap in, Part # XW7R-7000-AA ... previous owner said it came off a 98 CV... I tried deciphering it and it seems it"s a 99 year trans? ... im worried that it might be a police version with the longer tail shaft ? i only suspect that because looking at the converter its the f69C model which is 4.2l police spec according to stamped # 2-10-29-98-80A ?? I hope i can use this trans, i got it with a 98 motor $300 pair 110k.. it"s better than my blown 95' motor lol

It should be XW7P-AA, not xw7R and if so, it's NOT a police version:

Ahhh i misread the the last letter, it is XW7P-AA,,awesome!! So i was reading in the tech articles how to make this work it says to repin the harness swap the mlps and tcc solenoid from the 95 into the 99 vb and it"s good to go? Can i leave the 99' EPC in? I'm not clear on if the EPC needs to be changed as well?

Repin the harness, and use your old MLPS & TCC Solenoid. It should work fine if installed like that.
