repin help

So I used the repin directions from here http://clickclickracing.com/4rrepin.pdf and put it all together. Have the OD abs SES light flashing at me. Pulled the trans harness and the sig return wire is a different color. All the others are the same. It is black with an orange tracer. Any ideas?

I pulled codes and got po750 shift solenoid "A" and po755 shift solenoid "B". i pulled the tranny harness and went through the wires. All lookes good. 2 power wires were pulled and shrink wrapped back inside the harness.

Lookin for help so I dont have to pull it.

If you didn't have to make a new hole in the silicone seal for the connector, it's not wired right.

I used the write up from the Panther site, p71 ??.

It's important to know whether the picture is of the tranny connector, or the face of the harness connector; the vacant pins make that easier.

Most likely, it's swapped left to right; the other alternative means internal issues.

Pulled the harness last night and could not get any continuity. For the signal pins. Took my other harness and did it again. Pulled all the fluid out of the pan though. Now there is no SES but the od light is flashing. Did not have the chance to check the codes before I had to go to work.

I will probably try to figure out the code(s) tomorrow and I will try to find the selonoids. Not really happy about it but what do you do.

Okay, so its fixed. For those who look at this later doen the road, I had 2 problems. First, the original harness did not show any continuity between the body harness connector (under the tailshaft) and the tranny plug (passenger side that plugs vertically into the tranny). Repinned the spare harness and plugged it back in. No SES, but OD light was flashing.

So, I pulled codes again and had the solenoid "A" code again. Second (30bux and change later), I pulled the pan and replaced the shift solenoid pack. WHILE IT WAS OUT, I checked the pins on the hard wire connector and they all showed continuity. Bent the tips a bit to be sure there was a good connection and put it back together. 5 or 6 quarts later, it is running with no lights flashing.

I ohmed the old pack and there showed to be 30ish (I think) ohms on both. Common sense would have told me to test the new ones, but too little too late. Maybe someone else will chime in here with the actual ohms on a new one.

So in recapping, codes 0750 (A) and 0755 (B) in my case were as most of the others, problems with the harness and a solenoid pack.

I pulled the pins out of the first harness as well as the sheath on both ends. There was no indication of a problem in the wiring. That leads me to believe that the pins broke inside of the sheathing when I was doing the repin of the harness.

One further thing, as Grogg pointed out, when using the diagram I linked in the first post, using the rubber to determine the correct placement of the pins. In order to keep from poking a different hole, I simply pushed the wires through the black keeper on the back (you do have to add a hole there), and flipped the rubber weather seal so I could use the existing holes.

Hope this helps someone down the line.

I'm happy you have it working; the 'extrai holes I end up with I hit with rtv.
