I seen this as well thumbing through my Summit magazine..I thought this might come in handy if I ever need to swap out my AOD for a 4R70W..

I haven't seen any reviews on them though..

Most of the guys running 4R70W transmissions in their 94+ MN12's and FN10's do their transmission tuning through the ECM..

What benefit would this product be to those guys?

Unless maybe you carbureted your engine??

I'm not passing judgment on the sociological merits, I'm just reporting the news, as I thought it was interesting.

Yes, I hate my Lincoln. Ask me about it sometime.

Seems roughly the same price as the Bauman product.

I strongly suspect that for someone who has an earlier car and wants to control a 4r70w, moving from an earlier 91-94 ECU to one from 95 that support the 4r70w is probably the most cost effective option by far.

I really wish some aftermarket would pick up the 6r60/6r75/6r80.
