Arrow 96 T-bird valve body/Jmod;

I started with a 99-2000 valve body core. This core is desirable because it has a higher capacity 2-3 valve spring and low load 3-4 capacity valve spring as well as a revised manual valve to allow faster direct clutch exhaust on the manual 4-2 shifts. Because this valve body was being installed in a 96 year model transmission, which does not have the mechanical diode one way clutch and the customer wanted slightly firmer shifts, I drilled the plate on the conservative side. The pressure regulator valve was heavily worn, both the regulator valve and boost valve were replaced with Sonnax valves. The pressure regulator spring was also upgraded, which increases main line pressure 8%

New aftermarket shift solenoids were installed to match the style connector that is used in this model transmission.
Since holes 4&5 were not enlarged larger than .093" it was not necessary to enlarge the corresponding holes in the gasket.
hole 1 = .160"
hole 2 = .089"
hole 3 = .180"
hole 4&5 = .089"
hole 6 = .125"
hole 7 = .089"
hole 8 - not used
hole 9&11 = .110"
hole 10 = .089"
slot 1 in the gasket was opened to .100"

I rebuild AOD/AODE/4R70W/4R75E transmissions....Check out my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/North...48414635312478
