4R70W rebuild problem

Hello guys!

I had to rebuild my tranny since the 2nd gear was slipping. I decided to do it myself and so I did. I worked with a full rebuild guide which I've found on youtube and I'm not sure if I did it properly. The problem is my input shaft - it turns only one way.
- please check 58:10
He turns his shaft counterclockwise and he doesn't say if it should turn bothside. My shaft turns clockwise...
I've been checking my work with this rebuild guide at every step and it was ok for all the time until the end. My tranny's parts were turning, locking and making noises exactly the same like in the video, only that shaft turns the other way.
Did I reassembly it wrong or everything's fine? Could anyone tell me?

Are you trying to turn the shaft by hand?

Hi, I just rebuilt a 4R70W from my 97 Cougar using these same instructional videos and the input shaft also only turned clockwise which is the direction the engine runs viewed from the front, maybe that's why. I reinstalled the transmission and it works fine. Hope that helps.
