94 tailshaft bolts were a little loose and of course leaking profusely. Tightening the bolts only slowed the leak. Is the removal of the tailshaft as easy as removing the 6 bolts, crossmember and driveline (possibly exhaust)? Also, can Permatex® Anaerobic Gasket Maker be substituted for the gasket?
Yeah, you'll have to slide back the driveshaft, undo those few bolts and voila. I'd say just get a Ford gasket, they cant be that expensive.
