Does any 4R70W fit 94 Cougar?

I might be able to get a 4R70W off of a 97 mustang shouldn't ti fit?

Yes, but you will definitley need to change the TCC solenoid to one for your car and swap the lever for the linkage from your old tranny to the new one. It is also always a good idea to get a new MLPS. They are less than $30 at most places.

Make sure it is out of a GT and not a V6. I'd look for one a few years newer as well if possible.

I got the 98 Mustang GT for $150 (that actually works thank god...real cheap) but I think they updated the VB and what not in 98 so I would shoot for 98 and above.
