4R70W white connector harnesses ? quality ?

Is there a difference in the early (fat wires) or the late (skinny) wires in the trans wiring harness ? (inside the trans for the valvebody)

I am going to check them on a voltmeter for resistance. If I find a difference I will post it soon.

Building a 99 5.4l truck trans w/car valvebody and supporting parts

Any ideas ?

it is only the insulation

I checked the resistance of both of them and they both are zero ohms. I guess I should have figured that from the beginning. The wiring insulation on the OLD style is just heavier , the wire strands appear to be the same guage and material. (old vs. new). I had to check to be sure before I made the connector to connect the old harness to the new style EPC solenoid. (Used an airless plastic welder and part of the circuit board connector)
