Can A 4R70W Stay in 1st and 2nd longer..?

I did a search, and i found mostly engine tuning/timing etc.

What would i have to do to basically make 1st shift MUCH later at slow speeds, the same with 2nd..? Mainly so that i can stay in 1st like a manual. I hate it how my car shifts 1,2,3,OD in like 6 seconds and i'm doing 36mph in 4th. This i understand is for fuel economy, but i much rather have 1st up to like 28mph whether i'm easy on the throttle of full on WOT.

Would a speed shop be able to do this..? I don't think anything else would have to be changed either, like a/f, timing etc.

i believe you can have the shift set to either rpm or vehicle speed. so you can program it to shift whenever you want. order a chip from lonnie. (see my sig)
