4R70w or AOD

Hello

What is the maximum torque converter rpm? for the 4R70W? AOD?

Or will the old C4 be better?

I am looking for about 6500 rmp. I will be using in a Circle track Car, Behine a 351W 2bbl.

You won't get an AOD to circle track worth a crap - If it were me, I would use the C4. The 4R would be nice except that is alot of weight in parts you don't need (aka 4th gear). The AOD doesn't hold 2nd gear without mods, and even then it is iffy to have engine braking - same goes for the 4R - you will burn the band going into corners under engine braking eventually - so i would think.
