4R70W life expectancy

I was wondering what the average life expectancy of a 4r70w should be with the following mods made at 70k miles:

J-mod
20k trans cooler
merconV changed every 35k mi
easy driving 80% expressway speeds

When I bought the car from my sister four years ago it had 68k miles and no tranny maintenance was done at all till I did what I listed above. I now have 112k miles and all is okay so far!

Everyone get different results. Mine lasted 75k I have seen them with over 150k on them, yet I have pulled them out with less than 40k on them.

Probably depends on how you drive. I replaced my 95 Tbird at 103k, pretty bad torque converter shudder. My 95 Town Car is still going strong with 122k.

My red Cougar has 175k+; the drive shaft shakes like a B.... at 80, but it still barks 'em on the 1-2 shift regularly.

So, can the drive shaft shudder toast the bushings in the tailhousing, or cause other damage internally? I'm hoping santa will bring me a J-mod transmission, but...
