Differential Leak

I was under my car and noticed that it looks like the oil is leaking out of the differential where the drive shaft connects. I have a dynotech 3.5" drive shaft installed.

Is this a common occurrence or could the shaft have caused this? (by being a little to short or something) It kind of looks like the seal has been pulled out of it. I don't know what it's supposed to looks like though so I cant say for sure.

I had the drive shaft installed by a local tranny shop five or six months ago.

It also looks like there may be a much smaller leak where the half shaft connects.

Besides the previous question does anyone know how much this may cost to fix? Any recommendations?
