stock 96 trans?

Auto-trans, 20tooth Orange gear, ford part# C8SZ-17271-B

the sccoa gear calc says 19tooth for 3.55 w/ a 7tooth output shaft.. but thats a stock tan one lol.. it calls for the orange for 3.73 instead of purple.. which leads me to believe it is 1 tooth off...

thats the one that i put in...the orange one that is. weird seems off to me...60 mph at 2000-2100 RPM sound right?? i dunno i'm just waitin for the 3.73's to be built, patiently. i have the purple one for that application. we threw in the 3.55's just to see if it was much different than the 3.27's which it's not. although i like the feel of the TL.

Ok, it would be sooo easy if I knew for sure...

The 97 4R70W.... does it have a 7-tooth drive gear or an 8 tooth drive gear??

I've decided to go with 3.73's.
