pinion seaal replacement

My pinion seal on the differential is leaking and I was wondering what torque wrench everyone uses for this repair. The repair manual references a spec of about 15 in-lbs of torque required to turn the differential with the wheels and calipers removed. So far I have not found an inch-pound wrench that goes this low. Also what torque spec did anyone use for the pinion nut. The mustang book I have references about 140 ft-lbs but the tbird book implies you tighten the nut until you reach the orginal inch-pound reading for rotating the differential. Overall i found this method to retorque the diff flange nut very confusing and i do not understand why ford made it this way. If you have any advice on this let me know. Thanks.
