Jeg's Ring and Pinion Sets

Does anyone have any experience with the Jeg's brand Ring and Pinion sets? They were recommended to me from a friend, but his experience was with a 9" solid.

Mods? Do the ones in the garage waiting to go on the car count?

Many thanks to my fellow Veterans; I am honored to be a part of your ranks.

No experience with them but IMO, go with Ford Racing.

That's my gut feeling too. The friend who recommended them tends to cut a few corners.

As long as they were marked and run together I dont think it really matters what brand you use, as long as they are new. I have heard the ford racing ones sometimes allow you to get away with using the same pinion shim, but that's still no guarantee. I just installed a set of Motive gear 3.25s in a ford 9" last week and I cant hear any noise from the rear end ( just the noisy mudgrip tires). It's kinda whatever you want. I would probably only go with FRPP if i got a sweet deal.

My recently installed 4.30s (purchased almost a year ago) are FRPP packaged Motives. They were a breeze to set up and are silent. I would not hesitate to buy the 'Ford' Motives again.

lowered, koni sport adjustables, 4.30 tl in aluminum housing, mark 8 trans, j-mod, 93 mark viii ds, antenna hole=gone, kooks headers 1.75" primaries, 2.5" catless duals, midmount magnaflow, 96-97 sport wheels with 255/50/16 sumitomo HTR Zs, optima in the trunk, new motor...94 mark 6/6/08
