gear lube

Want to know how many people run royal purple in there trac lock diffs. I was just running 75w-140 with the friction modifier but want to know if royal purple is a better choice.

95 Thunderbird LX
Drive train Mods:
full PI swap (03 grand marquis engine), 2000 Mustang GT 4R70W, C & L intake elbow, 73mm TB, 73mm MAF housing, CAI, flowmaster exhaust, 3.73 w/ trac lock and upgraded clutches, BOC tune.
Interior Mods:
SC seats

2008 Mazdaspeed 3
Drive train Mods:
Mazdaspeed cold air intake, TWM short throw shifter, motor mounts, and muffler delete

Don't know if it is better but I have been running it over two years. I check fluids every 6 months or so. Diff smells clean. Not like the old crap.

I have heard thats what makes the royal purple better than conventinal diff fluid. it has the friction modifyer's right in it already. But i would check that info before i run just the RP

No friction modifier. Run it as is.

read the bottle of all brands of diff fluid....you would be surprised to see how many come with friction modifier..
