suggestions on trac-lok please

I want a new unit for my 96 bird w open diff. and 4.10s... I want a NEW unit.. any suggested part #s for auburn, frpp, whoever.. Thanks in advance for all suggestions..

I think it should hold the TL's clutches tighter so they don't slip as easily. (They still need to slip for cornering)

If you are talking Traction Lock "S" spring, there is a BIG difference in tension that it applies to the clutches. Definitely install the improved "S" spring if you are going to the effort of installing/rebuilding a traction lock.
