3.73 cobra pumpkin

My rear is clunking like crazy - Does anybody know where to get the complete pumpkin anymore? It will cost me more to rebuild this than it did to buy it!!

I thought it was obsolete.

It's not a 97 Sport, it just looks like one!

you are right

I am looking for a new one. I thought maybe some dealer would have some left, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Several years ago, I had access to about 40 of these units, I sold them on this forum. I haven't seen one in quite a few years though.

My recommendation is just to get a nice aluminum housing, and build your own. In most cases you will want more than a 3.73 gear ratio anyways.

I build them all the time. I like 3.73's for most cars because you do not need any speed calibration device and still get excellent fuel economy. Stay with OEM or FRPP gears if you want it quiet. I also prefer the OEM traction lock as they are quiet and readily available.
