question about traction loc

i was wanting to know if its possible to put traction lock on a 93 just like what the 1995s have. can anyone let me know

To elaborate...

All you need is an IRS Traction Loc unit (not sure if they're specific or not), and have it professionally installed. A popular mod is the F150 S Spring, but pretty much any open diff can have a limited slip installed so long as there is one available for it.

Yes, get an 8.8 off an SC or a v8 bird/cougar with trac-lock. Should bolt up to your car to replace the 7.5 it has now. (assuming its a V6 like your profile says)

I love my V8, but I'd love it more if all 8 cylinders worked. (they do now)

He has a 93, so it's possible the car already has an 8.8 depending on how it was equipped.

Then get to checking that axle code lol. Theres good info in the articles about that.
