Installing 3.55s

Before I do my gear swap, i wanted to see if anyone could tell me what size sockets are all used so i can gather everything up from work and not be missing anything. Also can someone tell me what to set the backlash to for 3.55s. Theyre FRPP. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Backlash is the same regardless of the gear ratio, and should be between .008" and .015".

Cover bolts- 1/2inch
pinion nut-27mm
carrier cap bolts-3/4

Backlash for new should be .008-.010 for brand new gears in a cast iron case. For cast iron case pack the carrier as tight as you can without damaging something. If the shims just slide in it is too loose but you shouldn't be beating the crap out of it.
For an aluminum case spread the case about .025 to get proper fit. Add .002 to backlash for aluminum case.

Let me know how you like the 3.55's. I had a set I was going to use, but in the end decided on 3.73's I like the 3.73's but still wonder about the 3.55's on occasion (usually when I'm on a long highway drive...)
