NOS Trak Lok on Ebay

Here is a new old stock trak lok on ebay. I have been looking for a while, and bought the other one. The number allegedly matches what fits our car. But do your own research. Get it!

Well, it's either this or $450+ for a Torsen, Yukon, etc. RobertP claims there is very little, if any, shimming required for the factory Ford part, unlike the aftermarket one's.

Man, I thought someone in here would jump on it! It is still available, believe it or not.

The FRPP ceramic Trac-Lok rebuild kit I just got from CJ Pony Parts was $108. I realize this is new, but it doesn't seem like that good of a deal, unless used units cost a lot more than mine did.

You are talking about a clutch rebuild kit for $108. For sale was the entire trak-lok unit for $250. True, they used to be $200, but are long discontinued.

I tried going the "used" route. Now I got a trak-lok unit for a solid axle that I have to re-sell because the seller used the M4204F288 part # in his ad. True that you can make the solid axle trak-lok work by beveling the side gears, but the mechanic that would be doing the install was not familiar with that process.

I have seen other used units for $150. That is not a good deal. Plus, you may end up with a solid axle unit like I did.

Bad timing for me otherwise I would snatch it up. I doubt it would be around 2 weeks from now.

It's sold. It lasted a day or so.
