Driveshaft idea

Lincoln Motorsports sell's a one piece performance driveshaft for $485. Wouldn't that work on our cars?

Or is there a down side to it, like being more expensive then a replacement. I dont remember anyone talking about it.

Yes it would work, except:

1. You'd deal with Geno
2. Costs too much
3. If it breaks, you'd have to deal with Geno

Since both are 4R70W's and same tailshaft housing I would think they'd be the same size.

Last year someone here tried to put a Mark 8 driveshaft in his SC and it wouldn't fit. His was a 94-95 auto and the driveshaft was too long. I got the measurements on the Mark 8/V8 driveshaft from DanU and compared them to mine and was about an inch shorter. Apparently the SC/V6 cars have a shorter driveshaft than the V8 cars.

It's not a 97 Sport, it just looks like one!
